Story

This is Kami. He was our wonderful guide on our recent trip to Nepal.

Three years after the terrifying earthquake that struck Nepal, Kami and thousands of other people in the countryside still have not been able to rebuild their homes - and have little prospect of ever doing so.

To raise money for Nepalese people who are still living in temporary homes, My Mum and I are walking the 3 National Peaks (Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scarfell Pike in England and Snowden in Wales) on the 30 June in under 24 hours.

The money raised will go to 'Help Nepal Network', a UK-registered charity. It has got registered chapters in over a dozen countries around the world. The organisation mainly works in the sectors of health and education in rural Nepal. It also provides humanitarian support to emergency/disaster relief efforts. The Network has completed nearly 150 projects since its establishment in 1999. Help Nepal provides the oversight to ensure charitable funds raised and donated are directed to ensure maximum benefit to project beneficiaries. Help Nepal has set up an administrative fund to finance its overhead costs and is staffed by volunteers, therefore all of the funds raised goes to the project beneficiaries.

Please sponsor me - Nepal is a long way away, but they really need our help.
