Story

Happy New Year!

So, I decided to set myself a challenge by walking 1000km in the first 100 days of 2022 to raise much needed money for The CTiW Haven Project in Whitstable. This will be quite a challenge, for those of you that count your steps every day like me, it will be almost 1.5 million steps by the time I’m done! The final day of the 100 day challenge will also be my birthday and the biggest gift for me will be handing over the money raised during this challenge.

The mission of the Haven Project is the prevention or relief of financial hardship among homeless people in the Whitstable and surrounding area by the provision of a drop-in service, clothing, bedding, food and other items. They also provide information and assistance to help in accessing other support services. The charity was formed in 2016 by Churches Together in Whitstable and is supported by a number of dedicated volunteers. You can have a look at the website here https://haven-project.org Registered Charity No. 1177700

Please help me in raising funds for this wonderful local charity and help homeless and vulnerable people live a better life.

Thanks you!

Mike
