As I'm sure you all know by now, THEY DID IT!! Well done to Jimbo and Clive and thank you to everyone that has donated to this event. With this money, we will be able to do about 30 large food collections and save approximately 15,000kg of food from going to waste and distribute it around our community. Thank you all so much.

We're back from Gran Canaria training and ready for the Friday charity ride. Over 7 days, we rode 352 miles and climbed 38635 feet. Biggest test was Valley of Tears, which is a beast as gradients are over 15% for long periods and 2 sections at 22 and 25% but the 4 who took on the challenge completed it. With the warm sun and little breeze the climbing was brutal at times but we all won a sense of achievement. Jim beat a PB by 31 sec on The Wall, a 22% for 1km, with Clive not far behind at his first ever attempt at this challenge.

Will be riding an easier route today for the legs to recover. The next big one is planned for Thursday and is called Valley of the Tears and for a good reason. Parts of it over 20% on the climbs and one section for nearly a mile. In all the boys are attempting to ride 85 miles with 11800 feet of climbing. Stay tuned
