We would like your help to send eleven children and two members of staff from Middleton Primary on the trip of a lifetime to Ningbo, China. The trip is part of a cultural exchange established by the Confucius Institute at the University of Nottingham. The children will visit our sister school in Ningbo and experience Chinese education and culture first hand. It is an amazing opportunity for them to broaden their horizons and promote international understanding, tolerance and citizenship.
In order to encourage support the children have already made cakes, sold ice lollies at sports day and taken part in a sponsored swim. Throughout the year they will be organising Christmas parties, washing cars, packing bags at the supermarket and taking part in other sponsored events. All the children are very excited by this amazing opportunity and they are sure it will be a life changing trip. Please help us transform the hearts and minds of these eleven individuals in the hope that they will pass on to their peers the spirit of international togetherness and infinite possibility.
