Story
Our beautiful amazingly talented sister sadly passed away on the 10th July 22, at the age of only 39! Lisa left behind three devasted children and heartbroken family & friends who love her so much.
As a family we are raising money for a memorial place to visit and remenis on the time we shared with her. The first part of our journey is to walk the biggest of the three peaks on the 24th September 22 with her children, family & friends.
Anyone that knew our Lisa, knew she was just one of a kind, she had the biggest heart ❤ she was so caring and was the most selfless person we have ever met. Even when she was battling this horrible disease alongside intense chemo, radiotherapy and suffering a blood clot on her lung. She never once complained & always had a smile on her face. Lisa fought her battle for 14 months and we couldn't be more proud of her if we tried.
Lisa wanted us to raise awareness of stomach cancer, even if it helps just 1 other person recieve an earlier diagnosis please look out for the symptoms and any unusual stomach pains please see your doctor and ask for more tests
Lisa started with h pylori - A bacterial infection in your stomach and the doctors never followed it up which then resulted in stage 4 metastatic cancer
Lisa was told that it was unlikely she had Cancer, as Stomach cancer is usually diagnosed in people over 60 and its more common in men.
Lisa's oncologist said she had more chance of being struck by lightning than getting this form of cancer.
This is why we vowed to keep Lisa's memory alive as not only did the children loose their mum but also their home and as a family we feel its important that they have a place to go.
Any donation would be grately appreciated
