I'm raising £250 to Mental health, Wellbeing and awareness.

The 4N;cky Foundation is a charitable organisation set up in memory of our son, Nicky, who tragically lost his life to suicide in December 2022.
Nicky was just 20, a hard worker, an awesome drummer, funny, a beautiful son, an idolised big brother to his 2 younger sisters, and a cherished grandson. He was loved by so so many!
The aim of our charity is to raise awareness and funds to help with mental health and well-being in the community plus support families through the trauma and devastation such loss brings.
As parents, we have both experienced mental health challenges firsthand, both before and after Nicky’s passing. We have benefited from the support offered by family, friends and local charities.
We are committed to breaking the stigma and fostering an open dialogue about mental health.
We will always be so thankful to both Jac Lewis Foundation and 2wish for how they’ve helped us as a family, and everything they do for so many people. Our charity will always support these with our fundraising, as well as providing our own initiatives in the community for those struggling with mental health and tragic and sudden loss of a loved one.
On February 28th I be attempting to complete the tunnel ultra marathon.
The Tunnel is a mind bending test of extreme endurance and sensory deprivation. This challenge is a 200 mile ultramarathon through the darkness of the UK's longest foot tunnel. It is run on flat terrain but in the pitch black between 11pm and 5am, there will be low level lighting in effect at other times.
The Combe Down tunnel is in Bath, Somerset and there will be a check point at the south end of the tunnel. I will have 55 hours to run approximately 100 'out-n-backs', or 200 times through the tunnel, which is possibly the greatest mileage ultramarathon ever run 99% underground.
This is an extremely basic ultra marathon. The use of any headphones or running poles are prohibited and there is no outside support allowed. It’s just me and the tunnel!!!
Anyone struggling with mental health, please remember,
It’s OK to not feel OK, but it’s so important to talk about it. Never be afraid to ask for help. We can overcome a dark moment. There are exciting things to come.
“There is always light at the end of the tunnel”
Tomorrow is waiting 🙏🏻
