I've raised £1000 to help Vigo RFC

COVID-19 has hit people and businesses in many different ways and more often than not it's been for the worst. Vigo RFC is no exception. Like many others, our club was unable to open fully during much of 2020 and now with a country-wide lockdown at the beginning of 2021, with no clear end in sight, it's had to close its doors again. The club is home to over 200 members, old and young, and is an integral part of the Vigo community.
We are therefore aiming to raise whatever we can to ensure the club can continue to offer local community rugby at all levels as well as continue to provide a social hub for its members and their guests.
To do this we will be taking on the challenge of Route 66 - virtually!
Our aim is to complete the 2280-mile journey by the 1st August 2021 combining walking, running and cycling with our finish being Vigo RFC rather than Santa Monica pier on the sunny Californian coast.
All our mileage will be recorded in Strava and you will be able to track our journey on Instagram (http://www.instagram.com/theszodisconquerroute66) where we will post regular updates.
If you can spare anything we will be eternally grateful and your contribution will go a long way to ensuring the club remains at the heart of this small community.
Thank you.
