Until July 2010, this fund was known as “The Red Cross of Constantine Millennium Fund” (RCCMF), its name was changed in order to reflect the changing emphasis of the Fund.

The RCCMF was formed in 2000 in order to assist those children whose lives are so badly affected by circumstances beyond their control after the tsunami in South East Asia.

Applications for assistance from the Fund are only considered, as its name suggests, from Charities whose work is directly concerned with the welfare and care of children.
