I’m doing the three Welsh peak challenge (Snowdon in the North, Cadair Idris in mid-Wales, and Pen y Fan in the South) for all of these charities on June 13th 2020. I’m aiming to complete the challenge in 18hours (this includes the time to travel between the three summits). I want to raise £1000 for each charity, just so we can give back a small token of thanks for what these guys have done for us!

When our daughter went for a routine MRI on August 2nd, we were not prepared for the phone call that no parent should ever receive! You need to get to hospital now, they’ve found something in the scan! They’d found a brain tumour!!! Our world was shattered, turned upside down and got scary at a flick of a switch!

Lily-Marie was rushed up to the Heath in Cardiff and was admitted to the Noah’s Ark Children Hospital! She had surgery on the 5th August and shocked all of us with how well she came through surgery and days after with her positivity and determination, including the surgeons, Drs, nurses etc! All the staff, from the domestics, catering, play therapists, Emma and Nico the dog, nurses, surgeons and Drs absolutely made not just the experience that little more bareable for us but for Lily-Marie also! They looked after her with so much dignity and passion! They are absolute stars and don’t get enough credit.

The Brain Tumour charity have also been by our side since day one with advice and support. These guys do so much work without much recognition and coverage!

Make A Wish UK are also providing Lily-Marie a wish to help aid her recovery!

Dreams And Wishes are based in Cardiff and made Lily-Marie wish come true with a brand new laptop and a trip to the Harry Potter Studios in London!

Without any fundraising, then these amazing charities would never be able to help families like mine.
