Story

Mia Grace Goodlad was diagnosed with retinoblastoma 20th December 2018, just 2 weeks after her 2nd birthday.
Retinoblastoma is a rare type of eye cancer that affects young children.

Mia had surgery on 21st December 2018 at Birmingham Children's hospital which resulted in the removal of her left eye.

Mia started chemotherapy in January 2019 until March 2019 where Mia got to ring the bell indicating the end of her treatment.

On the 7th July 2019 Mia was admitted to hospital after becoming unresponsive at home and was put into an induced coma.

MRI scans were carried out on 8th July 2019 showing 2 tumours on the brain and a coating of cancer covering the brain.

Mia's consultant, with 25 years experience, has never seen a case like this.

Please help us get Mia to Belgium for an initial consultation with the cancer specialist and any treatment required.

Help us help Mia and her family.
