Hi thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I started fundraising for Kachi's wheelchair friend on my birthday last year. I met Kachi when he was 10years old (his now 15) and we immediately hit it off. He is the kindest most thoughtful kid I’ve met. He loves football and made me actually start supporting Man City because of his passion for the team and the sport! He knows everything and everyone in Manchester City! In 2019 I took unpaid leave to start an education non-profit in Zambia and Kachi would ALWAYS ask about my wellbeing, he was worried about my economical wellbeing, my mental health and would be better at talking to me than adults were because he had a genuine care and concern for those around him.

He has an amazing family around him who support him and others too. When I was in Zambia they welcomed me into their family and delicious weekend sabbath dinners too. They always seem to be helping others but never ask for help. When his mum told me that he needed a new wheelchair in 2020, I knew that it was a serious need and I didn't say anything at the time but deep down I thought about how much easier life would be for the family if they had more support.

A powered wheelchair will make a huge difference in Kachi’s life. I would love to get it kitted out with Man City branding too so that he has his favourite team with him at all times :) I have spoken with Easy Living Mobility https://store.easylivingmobility.co.uk/ who will be able to have a virtual session with Kachi to customise the wheelchair with things such as made-to-order seating, adjustable height and button control movement which means he can drive himself where he needs to go! :D They will also ship the wheelchair straight to Zambia so that Kachi can start to use it as soon as possible!

I know that this wheelchair will make Kachi so happy! And just as important - it will vastly improve his accessibility, mobility and quality of life. Please help me to make this dream come true and kindly give what you can.
