I have recently been invited to take part in the MISS MERMAID UK NATIONAL FINAL on the 28th and 29th July to represent my region!

However, to get there, I must raise £450 (£485 to cover page/paypal fees) in sponsorship - "all pageants ask for sponsorship from their finalists, the money goes towards your accommodation, food, venue hire, sashes, tiaras, prizes, admin fees etc etc.". You have the power to get me to the Miss Mermaid UK Finals and, *tough wood* should I be successful, would represent our country at the INTERNATIONAL contest later in the year

Hire A Mermaid, the contest organisers, have strong ecological ethics and welcome all manner of contestants, and I would love to be a part of such a diverse, caring and inclusive brand - they are very keen on marine conservation and also charitable work, and they run children's parties - with all my charity fundraising over the last 18 months and my love of children's entertainment, this is right up my street

My fundraising venture this year focuses on raising money for the PSP Association and Heads Together - I think it's going to be hugely important to be able to talk about these charities at the Finals, as the PSPA is a small charity supporting 2 rare diseases, and Heads Together aim to support those suffering with their Mental health, of which I have depression, anxiety and OCD. To be able to talk about these charities and raise awareness of these charities on such a good platform would be incredible and hopefully eye opening to everyone in attendance

I only have until the 23rd July to secure the sponsorship so I have time to make announcements, promote any companies who have sponsored me, and of course, express my heart felt thanks to anyone who has helped to support me in getting there.

I would love to represent my region and our country, and do you all proud!
