MelanomaMe. was created in April 2017 as a free counselling and support service for melanoma patients and their families based in the Northeast. This was created on the back of one of our founder directors (Kerry) own melanoma diagnosis in 2015 , which she described as "...an incredibly lonely place."

MelanomaMe. is a Community Interest Company that is presently self funded, with all 12 staff working voluntary and therefore, all funds raised help us to sustain our service.

Our aim is to reduce melanoma statistics, through raising awareness within schools, learning institutions, workplaces, the sports & leisure and the beauty, health & well-being industries, with our Skin-caner Prevention in Families (SPF) 5 star awards. . For more info go to: www.melanoma-me.org.uk
