- Funded on Tuesday, 19th September 2017

Story
1 in 6 of us will have a stroke. Stroke can happen to anyone, of any age including: young adults, children and babies and can have a devastating impact on those who survive. The Stroke Association works hard to prevent strokes from happening and raise awareness of how to recognise the symptoms of a stroke. They fund vital, life saving stroke research and support people who have had a stroke and their loved ones. This is through "Life After Stroke Grants", their information helpline, leaflets and website.
This is why I am pledging to raise £200 to donate to the Stroke Association, in 2017. Along with my friend, Norma, I will be running the Bank of Scotland half marathon on the 1st of October (2017) in Glasgow. This is going to involve quite a bit of training as I have never ran in an event like this before.
Donations would be greatly appreciated, but I do understand that not everyone has money to spare.
Thank you for taking your time to read this!!
