Meet4acoffee - A Platform for addiction recovery.

My story;
I was left homeless after alcohol addiction caused me to spiral out of control. With the help of others, I managed to turn my life around and during recovery had the idea to build an application that would help addicts to connect on a digital platform. This is not about taking support online; as the name suggests, Meet4aCoffee will result in more frequent face-to-face support by connecting users with physical locations. I feel that more people can be helped and possibly saved from that final fall that often is the hardest point to return from.

Meet4aCoffee is a one-of-its kind social recovery network for the digital age offering support to people suffering or recovering from addiction. Many times during recovery I wanted to reach out to people that understood me, who were willing to help; but that help was sometimes hours or possibly days away. With my idea, people needing support are constantly securely connected, not only to friends and family, but also to other people in similar circumstances.

I have found a specialist app development company in Sheffield who are building a concept which I can then launch to a sample of users to build a user case for further funding and commercial interest. The investment I require will go into completing that concept.

This is a commercial enterprise and as the name suggests; Meet4aCoffe will rely on coffee shop operators to sponsor their locations for a very low monthly fee. We’ll plug in vital services relevant to the users situation so that help can be at their fingertips. Our primary purpose is to provide a safe community; the app will always be free to users and their support network. Meet4aCoffee will connect us all.

My drive and passion to launch this platform has propelled me to achieve so much since I got clean. We are so close to having something ready to launch, I have and will continue to put everything into this emotionally, physically and financially.

£7500 is what is needed for the next phase. I have worked so hard to get to this point and have now turned to JUST GIVING to launch this invaluable platform firstly in the UK and then to the world. I now NEED your help, I truly believe Meet4acoffee will be a great network and this is the beginning of a well known and worldwide social platform.
