Following the sad death of Cllr. John Galley, the former Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Sue Dobson has been made Mayor of Chelmsford for the remainder of the 2022-23 civic year.

She will be supported during her Mayoralty by her new Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Bob Massey. You can learn more about the Mayoralty of the City of Chelmsford here.

The theme for the Mayoral year is “Hope”.

The Mayor will continue fundraising for Farleigh Hospice and Parkinson’s UK Chelmsford as both causes are very close to her heart.
