The Mayor of Barnsley, Cllr Stowe is organising a charity sponsored walk.

The walk will take place on Saturday 22nd July and will stretch across the length of the Borough, starting at Dunford Bridge and will conclude at The Pastures Lodge, Mexborough.

The aim is to raise money for his chosen charities Charity Info . A noble endeavour that will directly impact the lives of individuals in need within our communities.

JustGiving simplifies the process of collecting sponsorship money by providing a centralised platform where sponsors can easily make their contributions. It eliminates the need for fundraisers to handle cash or cheques, reducing administrative burdens and ensuring that all funds are securely transferred. Anyone wishing to support the Mayor's charities, but do not wish to take part in the walk can also make donations here.

Whilst the aim is to raise much needed funds, it is crucial to also remember the valuable work done by the organisations we support. Their tireless efforts, day in and day out, provide critical services, support, and resources to those who face immense challenges. By participating in this walk, we are endorsing their vital work and ensuring its continuity in the future.
