Story
The Oswestry Memorial Hall is an amazing asset for the whole community. It provides activity space for local groups and is run to help facilitate use, especially for groups that may struggle to be viable due to limited resources. I want to raise money during my mayoral year so that more groups can be supported to access this high-quality, well-managed, but under-used facility, either to hire space or provide necessities like refreshments or equipment and therefore help to secure the groups and the OMH in mutually-beneficial co-operation.
While I'm Mayor of Oswestry I will be arranging various fund-raising events for this cause, including a pickleball tournament, craft workshops, and I will be flying the Zip World challenge in Llanrwst on 9th November. If you would like to support me, please make a donation to the charity fund here and let me know in the comments if your donation is specific to any event, such as an entry fee for a tournament or workshop.
Thank you very much for your support!

About the fundraiser
Mayor of Oswestry
Oswestry
I've been proud to serve as a councillor since 2017 and have lived most of my life in Oswestry. I'm passionate about my family and my community, making inclusivity and equality my main focuses as mayor - hence my choice of official charity; something for whole-community benefit.
