Following the terrible fire at a Tytherington couples home on the 11th August 2020 lots of messages of help have been received from the local community to set up a page for people to donate money to this couple during their time of need after lightening struck their house and set it on fire.

4 years agoHi everyone, just a final update to say that you all contributed a massive £1,350 to this fund for Maxine & Duncan, which is absolutely brilliant!! Once the Just Giving fees were deducted the final amount transferred over was £1,291,03. Thank you again to all the community I know they are very appreciative of the money x

I'm SO sorry to hear of this. Always a worry when there's a thunderstorm, someone or something getting hit. I really hope they get some normality of life again soon. Sending big hugs to them x
