Story
In loving memory of Max Hamilton, a truly beautiful, courageous young man who was adored by everyone. He touched many souls with his warm, loving heart and his enjoyment for life inspired many.
On the night of the 26th of July, he had a fatal skateboarding accident and was cruelly taken from this world! After facing extreme brain and head injuries, he tragically passed away in hospital on the 27th of July. Being the very giving person he was, he also donated six of his organs to give life to the people desperately in need.
He loved all things skateboarding, carving his way through life and seeing it as an art to express himself. So much so that he built his own skateboard deck press and launched a skateboard brand - Parade Skateboards. He cared for the community and was very passionate about making much-needed improvements to the local skatepark. He was in the process of designing a grinding ledge that he intended to build over the summer with his friends.
As a legacy to Max, we're hoping to raise money to buy a pre-made grinding ledge and have it installed at Totnes Skatepark. Any additional funds raised will go towards research and development of skateboard head safety gear. This will be designed by skaters to encourage people to wear protection whilst skateboarding
All your contributions are truly appreciated by Max’s family and the people that loved him dearly, the skating community and his extended families.
