UPDATE!

We have been blown away by your incredible generosity, our initial aim was to produce as many masks as possible from a single machine at our school however the demand for the masks is huge and growing daily.

As a result we have hopefully accessed a further 5 laser cutters which means we could potentially be producing thousands of visors a day!

Due to this we have increased our target to £5000 to buy more materials.

If we can achieve this we will be able to produce approximately 50,000 visors to supply so many more front line workers.

Our doctors, nurses, emergency services and care workers are risking their lives to save ours, for less than 50p each we can produce these laser printed face shields to reduce the chance of Corona Virus spreading.

The team at Sandy Secondary School are making as many masks as possible but need more materials urgently so they can keep manufacturing and donating masks to our local community.

I am incredibly proud to be back in my old school where I learned to design, working along side some of my old teachers and witnessing the impact design and technology can have on the world.
