I am an International Fencer from Dronfield, Derbyshire and u20 British Number 1. On the 5th-11th April I shall be travelling to Plovdiv, Bulgaria to compete in the Junior Fencing World Championships in both the Individual and Team competition. We receive no financial support from British Fencing and therefore funding international trips throughout the year becomes a huge challenge, leading me to create this page.

Due to recent funding cuts from UK Sport there is no Talent Pathway to allow young fencers in Britain to excel, therefore training and motivation to compete at the world class level lies within the hands of each individual fencer, and their coach. I work closely with my dedicated Coach Anthony Klenczar at two clubs, Wingerworth Fencing Club and Derbyshire Epee Academy, we believe that together we can achieve international success through hard work and determination. Our aim is to one day compete at the Olympics and these World Championships will give me the experience I need to keep improving and moving forward within the sport.

Any donations of any amount will be massively appreciated and the money received will be put directly towards the travel costs and entry fees of the competition.
