'Masks for Nigerian Medics' are raising funds to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect healthcare workers against Coronavirus and other communicable diseases whilst caring for patients

Please help our healthcare professionals, their families, and other patients stay safe whilst caring for humanity.

We are Dr Jamila Dikko, MBBS, MRCP (UK) (Senior Registrar) and Dr Ilham Umar, M.D, Msc (Medical Officer).

We have set up this initiative to source PPE for our colleagues in the front line. This includes, doctors, nurses, porters, cleaners, physiotherapists, catering staff, and multiple support staff and volunteers.

Unfortunately we are faced with Coronavirus, Lassa fever and a host of other highly infective diseases. We currently do not have sufficient supplies to protect every single one of us. We appreciate all that the government and private organizations are doing, however, we need to acquire adequate PPE immediately to be able to take care of our patients.

    The equipment we need are

    1. Face masks (Medical masks and respirator masks)

    2. Eye Protection (goggles, face shields)

    3. Surgical gowns

    4. Gloves

We have procured a number of internationally recognised, reputable suppliers, who we will buy from and donate directly to hospital staff.

We are pleading with you to please contribute financially, no matter how small, to go towards this life changing cause. We need YOUR help to save lives during these unprecedented times we find ourselves in. The time to act is NOW to reduce harm. Help us save lives! Any currency and bank card is accepted.
