In honour of the memory of reverend Carol Avery BEM, Andrew and family would like to request any donations people would like to give, should be made to the charity she founded, and devoted her heart to - Marys child.

Carol shone a light in the dark for many people, family's and community's across her life, and we are immensely proud of the selfless love and support she gave unconditionally, not only to her family, but to every person she met. Through reaching out to help many, she saved lives and brought people together, always seeing the best in everyone that had the joy of sharing in her presence.

Mum has left a legacy of incredible kindness, nurturing warmth and inspiring positivity that will remain in our hearts forever. This will be remembered as Marys Child continues to show this support to local communities in need. Mum was a remarkable gift to the world who will be grieviously missed but abundantly celebrated.

Mary’s Child’ is a registered charity that was created to love, care and support families and individuals in need, by providing practical support, pastoral care, and signposting to other charities and agencies as needed.

We are grateful for all the love, prayers and support that have been so generously given to the family through this time. It reinforces the wealth of love everyone shared for our loving wife, mum and grandmother at this devastating time.
