Story

Pauline Town runs the Station pub in Ashton-under-lyne. However the Station is much more than a pub - it is a community hub where Pauline and a group of volunteers make packed lunches daily and feed up to 80 vulnerable, homeless people. Additionally, the We Shall Overcome movement raises funds through musicians donating their time, in order to secure accommodation tenancy's and support people into their own homes.

Due to the pub being closed and no live music this year, fundraising has been very challenging and with winter upon us, the need for funds is even more essential.

A group of us from Capstone Fostering, Stockport Council Fostering and friends are completing a running challenge over 12 days of Christmas (in 24 days), day one =1k, day two = 2k, day three = 3k...on so on until day twelve = 12k. Please join us in the challenge and please donate if you can.
