Casey is 20 years old.
He didn't have the best of starts to his life and was in and out of several foster homes.
He didn't let this start dictate the path his life would take and became an accomplished guitarist and cemented his place in a local band.
He also has an eye for details and loves designs and photography.
He got himself a job, a flat and finally a girlfriend....things were going great until he noticed some movement issues in his leg and thought that it was just a muscle pull from the gym.
Then came the loss of grip and walking issues.
After many doctor's appointments he was admitted to hospital for scans and tests and diagnosed with MND.
A life shortening condition with no cure and a prognosis of between 2 to 5 years from diganosis.
Now unable to work, get around unaided or do what he used to love doing, he has set his sights on getting married and walking his bride, Sammi, down the aisle before he is no longer able.
