Longwood Amateur Operatic Society have been around for 98 years bringing live entertainment to the people of Huddersfield. As we fast approach our centenary year we are staging 2 'firsts' for the LBT stage with 'Sunset Boulevard' 4th the 8th of October this year and then next October we are thrilled to be bringing 'Ghost' the musical to life!

Running an Amateur group is anything but Amateur work, it requires lots of voluntary dedication to keep the cogs turning and the lights on! A major factor of that is fine raising and as Chairman and Director of the society I decided to do my bit with a 10 hour singathon!!! So whether you can spare some money and want to sponsor the society for its future endeavors or just just want to sponsor me to not hear me speak for a week afterwards all donations will be put to immediate use and are gratefully received whatever the motive 😜❤️
