We are pleased to announce the return of the Penwortham running team. We are back and feel stronger than before. The team has expanded from 5 runners to 14 runners. Back in 2019 you helped us to raise an incredible £2,630 which we used to fit a professional sensory room for the incredible children that we have the privilege to support and work for day to day.

This year we have joined together again and hope to raise enough money to purchase more equipment for the sensory room and for the playground. We would like to be able to cover the costs of the following resources:

- For the Sensory Room: an interactive panel, sensory floor mats and fibre optic comb.

- For the Playground: an interactive sensory panel and a selection of wall mounted games.

On Wednesday 15th June 2022 we will be taking part in the Chase the Sun - Clapham Common 5K- 10K run.

5 K runners – Mrs Asma Ahmed ( Year 4 Teaching Assistant), Mr Bash Alimi (Nursery Teacher, )Mrs Sasha Birch (Year 2 Teacher), Mr Murray (School Business Manager), Mrs Fleur Leroy (French Teacher), Mr James Bromley (Year 4 Teacher), Mr Lewis Harrison (Year 4 Teacher), Miss Siobhan Hitch (Year 6 Teacher).

10 K runners - Mrs Litsa Anderson (Deputy Head), Miss Sophie Lewis (Year 6 Teacher/Assistant Head), Miss Lara Lopez ( Teacher student), Mr Mr Joshua Hayward (Year 2 Lead/Teacher); Mrs Marta Mrozowska (SENCO), Andrew Murning (Deputy Head).
