Story
Marshfields School is a small secondary special school in Peterborough. In order to develop our Computing curriculum and make new technologies accessible to children with a wide range of learning difficulties we need your help!
One of our department's aims for 2017 is to give our students access to physical computing and computer science through using Raspberry Pi's in and out of the classroom. One way we want to achieve this is by acquiring a set of pi-tops which students will then be able to use not only in Computing lessons but in extra-curricular clubs, promoting independent learning and inspiring students to get involved in the new Computing National Curriculum.
The use of pi-tops will also enable students with weaker fine and gross motor skills to access Raspberry Pi's more independently with the quick and easy set up a pi-top allows for.
Every penny we raise will go into our "pi-top fund" - help us expand children's horizons and broaden the opportunities available to them! Every penny counts!
