A group of local people have set up the Marple Youth Project which will open its doors in September 2021. We feel passionate about offering young people in and around Marple a safe and accessible place to meet and socialise in an informal setting; to try out new things and maybe develop new skills or get involved in their communities.

Now more than ever, with the long term impact of the pandemic and lockdowns not yet fully known, we need to ensure that we nurture our youth, giving them opportunities to experience an inclusive, non-judgmental environment.

As we set up, we would like to be able to buy some new equipment for the Youth Project which will help to keep minds occupied and to establish a positive and creative atmosphere. The funds will also be used towards initial set up costs such as insurance, DBS checks, first aid courses and room rental.
