We are raising funds for a community project.

In a bid to raise funds for this very worthy cause myself and my son Max are walking the "El Camino".

The Camino Frances starts from St Jean Pied de Port in France and ends in the Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela covering a distance of 790km. We hope to complete this within 5 weeks.

St John the Baptist Church, Flookburgh is soon going to celebrate being in the village for 125 years. It needs major work to its roof and the electrics if it is to see future significant anniversaries.

The church offers itself for the whole parish however often you come. Some people come ‘to church’ every Sunday and many others only come sometimes (a funeral, Harvest, Remembrance or Christmas).
