Story
Maggie is our two year old Scottish Terrier. She was taken ill with what we thought was an upset tummy on Wednesday. She was taken to the vet on Friday and today has had emergency surgery. As I began to write this, I was called by the vet to say that she has come through surgery but is still going to require intensive care for the next 48 hours at Peak Vets here in Sheffield.
We are facing a bill of around £2400 at this time, but as is the way with things, we are stretched to our limits at present.
Please kindly help us to meet part of the bill (we could not expect people to cover all our costs) and if we could raise just £500 it would take a LOT of pressure off.
Maggie has helped me personally through the depression caused by the loss of our first Scottie and the last 2 years, and is as precious to us both as our daughter and grandsons.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you sincerely if you feel you would like to help.

2 years agoAs you can see, Maggie's back on form, putting on weight nicely and has now been discharged by the vets. We were so close to losing her, that we can't believe just how well she is doing.

2 years ago8 days on, and Maggie is healing well, despite the heat. Back to the vet on Tuesday, and the final part of the bill, hopefully.

2 years agoWe got a call this morning and were able to bring Maggie home, where she now needs to make sure she eats and avoids infection for the next two weeks. Our home feels complete again. Here's a pic of the 3cm round pebble which was removed from her upper intestine. As you can see, it would have killed her in a short time.
