I've raised £20000 to help 'Fresh Food for the Frontline' deliver fresh food boxes to NHS heroes working on Covid19 Wards!"

Our doctors, nurses, technicians and NHS support staff are working tirelessly to care for people infected with this life threatening pandemic. They work long shifts, risking their lives giving everything to their patients. Time for them each day is limited, particularly when it comes to shopping, but eating healthy food is paramount to their wellbeing and their ability to provide care. I'm based in the countryside, while the rest of the team is in London, and realised that all around me are local farms producing a range of foods that combined together can give a a full and balanced diet.
This British industry is and will continue to play a vital role in addressing the disruptions to our food supply chain that is impacting all of us. That is why Tim, myself, Ahmad and Andy set up Fresh Food for the Frontline, to deliver food boxes sourced from these local farms that provide 1 weeks worth of food: fruit, vegetables, bread, milk, butter and eggs.
We have teamed up with local community groups to support distribution, and easyStorage have very kindly agreed to manage all transportation.
Our strategy is to roll this out to other communities who can raise funds specifically for the frontline staff in their local hospitals, and this has already started in 2 locations in Gloucestershire and Middlesex.
For example, some of our recipients, the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London and The Great Western Hospital in Swindon, have between them over 20 Covid19 Wards with upto 30 frontline staff on each ward, working up to 14 hour shifts! In partnership with the hospital teams, we are currently delivering over 100 large boxes a week to each hospital and plan to continue this going forward...... with your help.
It's a wonderful opportunity to help these incredible people, and to support the vulnerable in local communities.
