Inspired by the horrible events unfolding in a democratic country virtually on our door step in Europe, along with a friend of mine Godfrey Darling, I am going to drive my 4x4 and trailer full of relief aide to the Polish / Ukraine border later this week.

I am collecting non-perishable food items and Sanitary Items for my trip. Whilst I will fund the trip myself, I am also looking to raise money to support a friend of mine David Fox-Pitt who is also heading out to set up a canteen on the border with the aim of dishing out up to 1,000 hot drinks and meals a day.

Thus all funds raised will go to David's Aunt's Trust, 'Siobhan's Trust' charity number SC049842 which will fund David's trip.

If circumstances permit, I will try and do another trip in the next few weeks to re-supply David's Canteen.
