I've raised £5000 to Help Refurbish the Marist Sporting Club, Changing Rooms, and Toilet Facilities.

The Marist RUFC was first established back in 1959 and played from a field behind the Coach & Horses in Dunswell. Moving to the current site on Cranbrook Avenue in the early eighties the club has more recently welcomed a wider range of sports and year groups and is now run by the 'Marist Sporting Club'.
Following years of disrepair and some recent vandalism the Clubhouse is now in much need of a refurbishment so that the hard work of the clubs volunteers can continue providing a safe base for the local community that brings together all ages of not just rugby union and male/female rugby league teams, but a growing interest in american football, a darts team, and a pensioners club.
If you are an individual that uses the facilities, a friend or family member, or a local business that would like to make a donation, however small, then your generosity will be greatly received and allow the club to continue serving hundreds of users and providing a community hub for the local area and beyond.
I represent the Hull Warriors Masters as a player and team board member along with teammates Darren Hoggard, Justin Knaggs, Tony Rowbottom, Rob Wilson, and Allan Dunham whose parents [Steve & Julie] work tirelessly with Des and Collette as volunteers to help keep the club running the best that they can, especially in these difficult and unprecedented times. Chris Walker and John Chapman make up the Club's committee and will all be sharing this page as a joint initiative, across all stakeholders, to help raise funds and support for this project.
