Iʼve raised £13,715 to Support Joes young family
- Funded on Thursday, 23rd February 2023
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
My step son Joe had a massive bleed on the brain last week and a week later he is still very critical. He is a young man of 36 and has a daughter, Aurora who is 6 years old and a son who is due anytime now. His wife Samie is on maternity leave with very little financial support from this because she's in the health care sector.
Joe is self employed and without insurance, being young sometimes these things do not seem so important but now in this tragic situation his young family need a lot of support financially to pay for the mortgage and day to day bills. His Dad wanted to do something to help as you can imagine and had the idea of setting up a page like this which he felt would at least take some of the financial pressure away at this extremely difficult time. We totally understand that not everyone can help financially so we ask that nobody feels in any way compelled to donate but we would all really appreciate your thoughts for Joe and his young family and if you pray, your prayers at this time.

2 years agoIt comes with great sadness that Joe sadly passed away on Saturday 12th November. He put up a huge fight in the weeks he was unwell as was characteristic of Joe. Joes family would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you for all the love and support, prayers that we have all received in these past difficult weeks. The donations have truly shown what an impact Joe had on people, even those who did not know Joe but have been so kind to donate by hearing of his story. Please continue to keep Samie and the children in your prayers.

2 years agoWe would like to just say a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated. The donations have far exceeded anything we could have imagined, it shows the real love and goodness in peoples hearts especially those who don't know Joe. The love and prayers have touched our hearts. For those that do know Joe, shows how much he means by the huge amount that has been raised. Again a huge thank you to you all and please keep up the prayers.
