Story
"Talent is distributed equally; opportunities aren't."
The Rural Music Programme exists to democratise music education. We believe that all children have the right to access high quality music education and great art.
The transformative power of music is a catalyst for social mobility; creating communities where every child can realise their potential, regardless of background or rural isolation.
Currently based at Eyke C of E Primary, we are raising funds to enable pupils and families in the rural state sector to access high quality music provision, delivered by specialists.
By providing quality music education, instruments, and opportunities; we use music to connect and uplift schools and communities, raising aspiration and enabling them to become models of excellence and agents for positive change in the world.

2 years agoFINAL DAY! & they're off for the last leg of their epic adventure! Today may be the shortest day, distance wise, but the grit & determination is just as strong amongst the Running Violin team. As they start to enter the boundaries of Newcastle, they can almost start to feel that cool sea plunge waiting for them all at the finish in Tynemouth. Go Team, go! You've got this!
