Ellie went through her operation on Thursday 11th May. Now she begins her recovery period and we wish her well. Sending her all the love in the world. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this possible. Of course it's a tragedy that it happened in the first place - an evil excuse for a human who got his kicks from shooting a cat. Who knows what he'll do next?? He's out there walking among us, free to carry out further harm. Wish i could meet him, i really, really wish that with all of my heart!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN - you might remember this photo, the moment the two cats were caught. We first became aware of them when we received a call from Robert Woods, to say that he was working in the braes area when the two cats appeared in front of him. It was obvious the cats knew each other, so they must have come from the same home. They had to be trapped, there was no other way, they were too scared to simply be lifted into a basket. We got them both neutered, chipped and flea treated, and handed them into the care of foster mum Andrene.

We are completely gobsmacked with the response to Ellie's appeal. We knew it would be good but oh my god it's better than good! Saying thanks to you all sounds so in adequate but we're saying it anyway - THANK YOU - We would like you all to know that any surplus funds that are not needed for Ellie will go to helping our other rescue cats, and there will be many because it just never stops!
