Story
Hello! We are a team of Firefighters from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service. We are no stranger to challenges and have taken part in a wide range of events in the past from 5KM, 10KM, Half Marathon’s and completing the 2019 Manchester Marathon.
After completing the Greater Manchester Marathon in full firefighting kit to raise money for MIND & The Firefighters Charity, we are hitting the streets again on Sunday 19th May for the Great Manchester Half Marathon. Once again in full Fire Kit but now also a Breathing Apparatus Set. Taking individual weight carried to over 20KG.
Taking part are Firefighters Ashley Powell, Paul Leigh, Simon Calvert, Peter Daniel, Kristian Clowes & Connor Sweetman.
