Story

On the 9th of June I will be starting a 162 mile walk from the Thames head to the Grenfell Tower in 5 days for the 5th anniversary in memory of the 72 souls that we lost on that fateful night, One of them being my 12 year old niece.
I will be raising money for the Grenfell foundation and Kids on the Green two organisations that have worked tirelessly to help the local community since the day of the fire. I will be raising money for 2 causes close to my heart.

Kids on the Green, an amazing local grassroots organisation born out of the tragedy, supporting families young people and children using art therapy through music arts and performance alongside alternative & Hollistic therapies. This comes at a crucial time with funding being drastically cut by kensington and chelsea council.

The Grenfell Foundation which is a charitable organisation set up at the request of bereaved and survivors from the Grenfell Tower fire. It will provide support and assistance to the generations affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy for years to come, with an emphasis on community, well-being and education. The Foundation doesn't grant payments to individuals, but funds services and equipment that support bereaved and survivors. Examples include the Silent Walk, anniversary events, travel for bereaved that live outside of London to attend important meetings, costs for videos and media that keep Grenfell in the Public Eye. innocent victims.
