I've raised £1500 to Make Earth Green Again, so to build community, prevent pandemics and heal ourselves while healing the Earth itself.

Pandemics result primarily from our brutalising of nature and animals. Celebrating the essential interdependence of all life, we therefore work to help re-construct a beautiful, sustainable and healed world, respecting all living beings, planting flowerpots and forests, building community, seeking the re-dedication of major military resources (including creative lives) to re-green Earth, and promoting Global INTERdependence, all the while raising support for local and international environmental initiatives - via the following projects
For Beethoven, music was a life force, inspiring us to believe in ourselves, capable of moving us to extraordinary creativity and acts of great love and courage. His ‘Ode to Joy’ celebrates joy, specifically, especially, as the harbinger of that peace and universal community. Echoing him, then, we seek to build a filigree of gentle peace for Earth herself within the current political and societal tumult. To share ‘Ode to Earth’ through all possible means, flooding the world with beauty, calling on people everywhere to unite to heal Earth.
Perfect for choirs, community choruses, and even for shower-singers, since it importantly involves humming – the one universal sung musical language. For fuller information and help making your own version, please contact Paul at paulbaker2004ÿahoo.com or +505 77060717

Oceans are surging, sun it is scalding, Forests and animals cower in fear Join hands with us now, O all you peoples, Singing, creating, the future that's near! Every person, all races and nations, Weaving our joy, our sweat, our blood Tomorrow is now, O Beloved Family, Build it, NOW, together - united in love.
THE EARTHBALL CHALLENGE Great fun; teaches cooperation and concern for Earth; raises money for local enviro-work; and emphasizes that restoring a green planet is vital if we want to stop pandemics. Perfect in and out of lockdown, for every variety of community, school, faith, environmental. And especially sports, so often overlooked. Click THE EARTHBALL CHALLENGE here for more information, contact, assistance, etc. or write paulbaker2004ÿahoo.com , WhatsApp +505 77060717
Elders form another often ignored group, yet they’re often brimming with experience, knowhow, time and resources, and even longing do something meaningful again.
Consumerism destroys our confidence in our own innate creativity as human beings, in simplicity, even in the delight of making our own gifts for loved ones. Take a daily moment to re-assert our humanity - a song, a drawing, a greeting, a thought - even if it’s only actually stopping to smell the roses!
In the same spirit, look for and promote worthwhile planting projects, local and global, promoting – and practising wherever possible - backyard gardening in its myriad forms, from plant-pots to patios. And, of course, planting and/or renewing forests. There are great projects everywhere. Look for them. Get the good news out. Take part. Encourage participation.
This project provides an inspiring and enjoyable educational experience, teaching cooperation and community for a healed Earth. It includes presentations of word, socio-drama, art and music, together with the exciting ‘EarthBall Challenge’ where teams strive to keep a planet-painted ball flying high. For long-term effect, it also links schools to the patio gardening movement, and to local and international reforestation projects. Vitally, this project engages the usually overlooked world of sports, and offers modern ‘pen-pal’ linkages. It's extremely flexible, and can be tailored to any class or group. Require our employees – our elected representatives – to re-dedicate 5% of all resources poured into armaments and war: money, materiel, and especially the creative lives of workers, salespeople and military personnel, to re-green Earth and to bring pure water to all. A contractual ‘tour of duty’ planting trees, laying pipes, every few years: transform perspectives, change lives, build global community.
Like the fingers of our hands, we are essentially both individual AND communal. Only by working in similar harmony will we ever rid the world of pandemics, re-green and heal Earth. We SHALL overcome – but only working together.. Help develop and promote a draft ‘Declaration of Global INTERdependence that begins: “We the People – and Peoples – of this one, exquisite, and exquisitely fragile, Earth, hold these truths to be self-evident.” Get the Declaration - or something similar - debated/adopted locally, nationally, all over the world. 'Declarations of Independence' abound, but, for Earth herself, for all children, all living beings, it's time to also declare - AND ACT ON - global INTERdependence. Ask your local council, political representative, faith community, business, NGO, sports club, to adopt the Declaration. Get prominent people to declare it on TV, radio, social media/in press. Call on the UN to declare ‘Global INTERdependence Day/Week'.
Occupy golf courses and other such sites of conspicuous over-consumption and/or environmental criminality. Amplify actions through the astonishing power of the phone in your pocket: challenge companies, governments, even ourselves, the internet itself. Phone strikes; Twitter storms; petitions; online flash mobs/campaigns/demonstrations. Use everything available for Earth: this is our decade! The internet gives us worldwide ‘bums on seats’.
(a) Back local planting initiatives from flowerpots to forests. (b) Build worldwide community, particularly through online shared music and art. (c) Call on communities of all sorts, local and national governments to declare - and act on - global INTERdependence, re-dedicating at least 5% arms budgets (including creative lives) to re-greening earth. (d) Call on the United Nations to establish World INTERdependence Day and Fortnight.
Obviously cash donations are vital to keep the work growing, the Earth greener; but there are a myriad other ways to be involved: ideas, skills, resources, time. If we're to heal Earth, we're in this together, no? Be great to work with you. Just write coordinator Paul Peuleve Baker here: paulbaker2004ÿahoo.com and/or call WhatsApp +505 7706017and/
