Clacton Cannons are a local Basketball Club that has been running in the area for many years. Our biggest goal is to be inclusive for all those who wish to play and help to support them with the fees associated with the club.

We run as a non-profit club and attempt to only cover the basic costs for the team to play such as kits and facilities, relying on players and families to support each other where possible.

We have two teams in the Suffolk Senior Basketball League that play out of Clacton Leisure Centre and have up and coming players who have have limited incomes to be able to join the club, buy their kit and travel to games - the club helps out as much as possible.

We are looking for additional funds to enable these players, some currently in university, some unemployed, some earning minimum wage or from low income families, to be able to participate.

All donations will go towards enabling and supporting more individuals to have access to the club without having to worry about the cost implications, especially in the current climate where some decisions are down to food on the table or household bills.

Please donate what you can, as we know sport is a release for mental as well as physical health and well-being and maybe the only opportunity for some people to be able to participate with your support.
