In June 2020, i was involved in a life threatening and life changing accident. My injuries were incredibly severe leaving me with only a 2% chance of survival and hospitalised in an acute setting for 400 days and being in a rehabilitation facility for 5 months after . I am left unable to walk, transfer, clothe and wash myself, completely paralysed down my right side with minimal movement in my left. After being discharged from rehab in December 2021, i soon realised my fight was far from over. I am raising funds for two main reasons. The first is access to adequate wash facilities (i.e shower, sink etc) as from the day of my discharge I have had 0 access to these, having to have bed washes daily and using the garden hose to wash my hair. And the second is so i can continue to access the appropriate specialised therapy and equipment I need to achieve my goal of living independently and adapted equipment that could facilitate this

i am so determined to meet my goals and i hope that i get the opportunity to prove this!!
