I'm a survivor of domestic violence and I was helped initially by Womens Aid.. They referred me to an organisation called MY SISTERS PLACE
They offer continued support, with counselling, which helps a woman identify in herself why she picks a certain type of man.. The Freedom Programme which helps victims identify men who are controlling, so that we don't make the same mistake again.. They offer other courses to help with confidence and getting a job ect.. They get a very small amount of financial help and could do with funds beng raised to help them continue their work..
I have very long hair.. Just past my waist.. And have decided to get my hair cut to shoulder length.. This is a very big thing for me to do.. But decided if I'm going to do this,, I'd like very much to raise funds for MY. SISTERS PLACE .. And then I will also donate my hair to The Princess Fund for human hair wigs for children with cancer. So I would be helping two organisations through getting my hair cut..

I haven't set a date yet for my hair to be cut but have set an amount to be raised of at least £500 hopefully more..
I am in talks with a hairdresser as I write this and when the funds are near to £500 then will set the date.. I'm hoping within the next month.. Depending on people's generosity 😊
