Story
Since first being diagnosed with cancer a number of years ago, Mum has had the amazing support of the staff on Woolverstone Ward and the Macmillan Nurses at Ipswich Hospital. In recent years, Dad has also been receiving their care and support, and earlier this year, my sister was diagnosed with cancer and has been treated by and looked after by the fantastic team at Ipswich Hospital.
They really are wonderful people, and we are enormously grateful for all they have done and are continuing to do for our family at a very difficult, scary and worrying time.
As a way of saying thank you, Emily and I are doing this years Orwell Challenge on 25th June 2023. Emily has set us the target of walking the full 25 miles. We will do our very best. It is a small test of endurance compared to what Mum, Dad and my sister have been through, and are continuing to cope with, and anyone battling cancer.
If you are able to donate anything towards this so we can give a little something back to the incredible Woolverstone Ward and Macmillan team, we would be so grateful. We are absolutely indebted to them and the help, support and care they give, especially when family can't be there 🙏🏻
Thank you so much xx🤗xx
