I've raised £200 to help Emmaus Leicestershire&Rutland expand their homes in Hinckley. A percentage will also be donated to air ambulance in memory of my dad.

Story

I have constant pain, due to a degenerative disease, and so I want to do as many crazy things before I can’t anymore. They won’t all be for charity, but this one seemed like too much of a coincidence.

Anyone who knows me will know that I can’t walk past a homeless person without stopping to hear their story and buy them a meal, so when I heard that Emmaus was raising money to build more homes in Hinckley, my home town, for people who sadly don’t have a home, I felt that I needed to do something to help. It will be Emmaus’ 10th birthday in September, and so it seems quite fitting that I’ll be trekking and running 100km over two adventures in the same month.

The first adventure is 3 countries in 3 days, along the Alps.

The second adventure in trail running 50km around the Peak District.

I also want to donate some pennies to Air Ambulance in memory of my wonderful dad. I wish I could tell him about my adventures, and so this is for him.
