Story
On the evening of Friday 14th July 2017 Lutterworth Cricket Club fell victim of awful vandalism to their pitch covers. The individuals have slashed the covers rendering them useless. The covers are really important because they are used to keep the cricket pitches dry before and during games of cricket.
This type damage is really difficult to swallow for the wonderful volunteers and supporters who run Lutterworth Cricket Club which is a not for profit Community Amateur Sports Club.
Lutterworth Cricket Club is one of the oldest cricket clubs in the world. Lutterworth Cricket Club provides amazing facilities and coaching for children, young adults, women and men. Cricket is a great personal development tool, promoting respect for officials and others so people don't fall into this type of behaviour and are not tempted by these mindless acts.
To all our followers, please share this as much as possible to try and raise £1000 for the replacement covers.

8 years agoHi Supports I just wanted to put on record Lutterworth Cricket Club's thanks to everyone who has donated and shared our crowdfunding page. We have been astounded by the generosity shown towards us by members, supporters and the wider community. Thanks to the magnificent response, we have gone ahead and ordered a new cover and sponsors artwork. The committee are currently reviewing where to invest any additional funds we have raised. They are looking into a CCTV system to help deter further vandalism. Thanks so much Steven
