I've raised £5000 to mark a 100km cycle ride on my 3rd lungaversary. Raising funds for Papworth Hospital Trust & The Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital Trust

On Sunday 12th of April 2020, I will be undertaking the challenge of cycling between Papworth Hospital (Cambridge) and The Brompton Hospital (London).
The ride, around 100km, will be a huge challenge both physically and mentally but I hope will raise funds for these charities of the hospitals which saved my life are incredibly close to my heart, as well as highlighting the huge impact organ donation can have and the importance of people registering their wishes.
I would love to invite those who are interested to join me. Please simply email pippa@nowwhatcanieat.co.uk if you might want to complete all or some of the ride. You can also follow me @nowwhatcanieat where more information will follow, or check my website for updates
Thank you x
*With huge thanks to Townsends Light Blue Cycle Centre who have generously lent me a bike to train on and for the ride
Given the current global situation I have had to update my initial plans. It’s important for me to do at least some form of challenge, if at all possible, as planned on the 12th so please do keep supporting...
Due to government advice to shield within my home as I am within the 1.5 million people classed as extremely venerable I will now be doing this challenge from our (small Battersea) garden.
Using a turbo trainer, and some clever tech, I will ride the 100km intended, hills and all… just remotely.
I will be live streaming some of the ride, and sharing pics and updates along the way so please interact and support to keep me going!
My hope is I can then organise a more communal ride later in the year, maybe in September for Organ Donation Awareness Week, when hopefully the Coronavirus risk has been removed.
Should others wish to take part in a ride, either in real life if its safe for you to do so or like me in an adapted way, please do so and keep helping me fundraise for two amazing causes ♥️
