Story

.Christmas is a special time of year filled with generosity, fun, love and laughter. Unfortunately, not all families in both the Manchester and Leeds areas are fortunate enough to have the resources to provide gifts and special memories to their children at these times!

Luke Robinson is the U10 Lead Academy Coach at Manchester City, working at the club for 2 and a half years, as well as being a life long Leeds United Fan from Horsforth, Leeds; meaning it was important to Luke to involve both clubs and communities within his upcoming challenge.

Therefore, Friday 2nd December; Luke will be running TWO marathons, in TWO days, starting from Elland Road in Leeds, and finishing at the Ethitad Stadium in Manchester to raise funds in support of children and families in need.

Day One: The route will invovled running across Leeds, past Headingley stadium, through Horsforth, towards Bradford and will finish past Brighouse near the M62.

Day Two: Will continue across Saddleworth Moors, towards Old Trafford before looping back round to the Etihad Stadium, finishing at CFA where he will be joined by his U10 team.

Overall Luke will run 85km (52miles) in 48hours with all proceedings split between both clubs, helping support families and children through challenging times this Christmas!

Any support, donations and/or encouragement throughout this challenge would be greatly received.
