I've raised £5000 to support Sarcoma research and improve outcomes for all those affected by this disease

As some of you know, on the 31st of October 2023 my cousin Jack Holmes was diagnosed with a rare Cancer - a type of Soft Tissue Sarcoma. What started as a small lump in his knee, grew quickly over the coming months. Jack went to get a doctors opinion on his knee (the site of the lump), and received the lifechanging news that it was cancerous, and he would need to undergo rigorous chemotherapy sessions. Jack initially assumed the lump was normal wear and tear (as many of us athletes just shrug these types of ailments off, and they'll go away on their own). However, he was informed that an intense period of chemotherapy and potentially other treatments will be needed asap.
He has recently started chemotherapy, and has expressed his desire to raise as much money as possible for the research of Sarcoma which is currently extremely under funded. The money raised will be allocated to critical Sarcoma research projects, with the support and guidance of the UCLH Sarcoma Team who are involved with Jack's care to ensure that every penny raised has the maximum possible impact!!
This is where I'm trying to help. In an attempt to help his fundraising effort, I'm completing an Ironman in the USA (Chattanooga, TN, on September 29th). For those of you that don't know, an Ironman consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike (this is 116), and 26.2 mile run (a MARATHON), all back to back to back (yes on the same day). I'll be posting, sharing and interacting with everyone as much as I can on my social media, but would like to try and raise as much as possible to support Sarcoma research, and Jack.
Please give as much or little as you can, as this is something very close to our hearts. I genuinely mean it when I say, even the smallest contribution will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the support,
Luke
